SAFETY CHECK - (Contractor Competence Assessments)

Pricing

Our costs are very straight-forward.  As an organisation we have a clear-pricing policy and we never have any hidden costs.  All costs are agreed in advance before any work is undertaken.  For the Safety Check Scheme there are 2 pricing structures.

Option 1 - SAS Contract Holders

If you have a Safety Advisory Service Contract (SAS) with us, the charge would be £12.00 plus VAT per a contractor assessment.  This contractor can be a sole trader or a limited company with 1000 staff for example.  The £12.00 is chargable from the moment that we send the first letter.

For the £12.00 fee per contractor we will:

  • Send the Initial Letter, Guidance Information and Questionnaire
  • Cover an adaption of the questionnaire to include your specific requirements, such as you may wish to ensure that all of your contractors have CSCS cards or £5 million Public Liability Insurance cover
  • Send a follow-up reminder letter and references to HSE leaflets for non-respondents
  • Undertake the initial review of the documentation
  • Send out an enquiry letter for further information following the review
  • Contact the Contractor to advise of status and any areas that we would like to see addressed
  • Contact you as our client to advise of your contractors Status
  • Maintain a database for your contractors detailing all of the information that we have collated - including for example insurance expiry dates
  • Provide you as the client with information on your contractors
  • Advise you as the client if a contractor of yours has not met the required standards
  • Advise you as the client when the renewal assessment date is due
  • Regularly back up all database systems to ensure that the information is maintained and kept secure

Option 2 - New Clients

For all new or non-SAS customers the cost for the above service is £18.00 plus VAT per contractor.  The same benefits will be provided as with the SAS Contract holders as detailed above.
